RABBIT BOARDING HOTEL IN LONDON
A Home from Home for Your Bunny
Since 2003, A Furry World has provided dedicated rabbit boarding in London, offering a calm, home‑based “rabbit hotel” where your bunny is treated as part of the family rather than just another guest in a kennel.
Our small, experienced team focuses on personalised care, consistent routines, and species‑appropriate housing so your rabbit can relax and enjoy their own holiday while you are away.

Why our rabbit boarding is different
Instead of traditional boarding kennels, your rabbit stays in a real family home where daily life is quiet, familiar and reassuring. We get to know each bunny as an individual – their personality, likes and dislikes – and adapt our care to match, whether they are confident and curious, or shy and sensitive.
- Home‑based boarding in London, not a noisy kennel environment.
- Individual attention for every rabbit, with plenty of time for observation and interaction.
- Calm, clean spaces designed around rabbit comfort, safety and enrichment.
- Experienced carers used to handling a wide range of rabbit breeds, ages and temperaments.
Housing and daily routine
We provide indoor accommodation with access to secure outdoor runs (weather permitting), so rabbits can enjoy both comfort and stimulation during their stay.
- Indoor living with outdoor run access – rabbits are housed indoors in secure pens with a room to move, stretch, flop and play, whilst supervised. With your permission, they will also have time in safe outdoor runs when the weather allows.
- Clean, hygienic environment – litter trays, pens and runs are spot‑cleaned daily and deep‑cleaned regularly to keep everything fresh.
- Quiet, rabbit‑friendly set‑up – we minimise loud noises and sudden changes, and ensure your rabbit always has hiding places and cosy resting areas.
You are welcome to bring familiar items such as your rabbit’s favourite bed, toys or hides to make their holiday feel even more like home.
Diet and feeding
To avoid upsetting your rabbit’s digestion, we keep their diet as close as possible to what they are used to at home.
- We ask you to bring your rabbit’s usual dry food and hay so there is no sudden change in brand or type.
- We provide fresh vegetables daily, but you are also welcome to bring your preferred vegs.
- Water is refreshed frequently and checked throughout the day.
- If your rabbit has a sensitive stomach, is prone to stasis, or follows a specific feeding plan, we will carefully follow your written instructions.
We are happy to discuss your rabbit’s diet in detail before their stay so we can tailor our care appropriately.
Exercise, enrichment and handling
Rabbits need more than just a clean cage – they need space, mental stimulation and, for many, gentle human interaction.
- Daily out‑of‑cage time – unless you request otherwise, every rabbit is offered daily time out of their enclosure for exercise and exploration in a safe space.
- Enrichment – tunnels, boxes, chew toys and hideouts are provided to encourage natural behaviours such as digging, chewing and exploring.
- Handling and grooming – for rabbits who enjoy human contact, we continue their usual routine of gentle handling, fuss and, where needed, brushing. We always work at your rabbit’s pace and follow your guidance on how they prefer to be approached.
If your rabbit is nervous or not used to being handled, we will respect that and focus on quiet, reassuring presence rather than forced interaction.
Bonded pairs and individual rabbits
We understand how important rabbit bonds are and take great care to keep bonded pairs together and stress‑free.
- Bonded rabbits are housed together.
- We do not mix rabbits from different families, so your bunny only shares with their own companion(s).
- If we notice signs of stress or conflict, we will monitor closely and contact you to agree the best way forward.
Single rabbits receive just as much attention, with extra enrichment and human interaction to help them feel secure.
Health, medication and monitoring
Your rabbit’s health and safety is our priority throughout their stay.
- Daily visual health checks, including appetite, droppings, posture and behaviour.
- Prompt contact with you if we have any concerns or notice changes.
- Ability to administer most routine medications, such as oral medication or eye drops, by prior arrangement.
- Clear instructions agreed in advance on what to do in an emergency.
Please let us know at the time of booking if your rabbit is on medication or has any ongoing health issues; an additional fee may apply for complex medical routines.
How bookings work
To make sure we provide the best possible care, we take time to understand your rabbit’s routine and needs before each stay.
- Booking enquiry – complete our Rabbit Boarding Booking Enquiry form with your dates and basic details.
- Care questionnaire – we send you a detailed form covering diet, housing, health, handling preferences and any special requirements.
- Optional meeting – where possible, we offer a face‑to‑face or video meeting so you can ask questions and tell us more about your rabbit.
- Confirmation – once everything is agreed, we confirm your booking and discuss drop‑off and collection arrangements.
Early booking is recommended for school holidays, Christmas and other busy periods.
