LIVE-IN SERVICE

(House‑Sitting)

For some cats, especially elderly, very young or unwell ones, having someone stay overnight in the home offers extra reassurance and support.

Areas covered: Islington N1, Stoke Newington N16, Hackney E8, Canary Wharf and Isle of Dogs E14.

Our live‑in cat sitting service includes:

  • An overnight stay from your house‑sitter in your home.
  • All meals and fresh water, including special diets.
  • Medication given as agreed, where safe and appropriate.
  • Litter tray cleaning, light grooming and plenty of interaction for cats who enjoy company.
  • General home care such as taking in post and deliveries, taking out bins, watering plants and keeping the property secure.

Live‑in care can be especially useful for:

  • Elderly cats who need closer monitoring.
  • Cats with ongoing medical needs.
  • Kittens or very sociable cats who crave more play and human contact.

As with our visiting service, we arrange an initial meeting and ask you to complete a thorough questionnaire so we fully understand your cat’s routine, health and home‑care instructions.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I wanted to say that Chantelle was absolutely brilliant while we were away - the house was clean and fluff-free and the cats were well fed and brushed and happy - we're really chuffed with her so thanks and please extend our appreciation.

- Cheers!, Joanne

Why our cat sitting service stands out

We know that most cats are happiest in their own territory, following their usual routine and sleeping in their favourite spots. Our cat sitting service is built around that simple idea.

  • Your cat stays at home, reducing stress and keeping their routine familiar.
  • The same regular sitter whenever possible, so your cat can build trust and recognises their visitor.
  • Professional, experienced cat sitters used to nervous, elderly, indoor‑only and special‑needs cats.
  • Added home security benefits, with regular visits giving your property that “lived‑in” look.

How we get to know you and your cat

We want you – and your cat – to feel completely comfortable before you go away.

  1. Initial enquiry – you contact us with your dates, location and the type of service you’re interested in (visits or live‑in).
  2. Care form – we send you a detailed form covering routine, diet, litter preferences, health history, medication and any house instructions.
  3. Meet & greet – you meet your designated cat sitter at home so they can learn your cat’s normal routine and see where everything is kept.
  4. Key handling – you may choose for us to hold keys securely for future bookings, making repeat trips quick and easy to arrange.

Our goal is to make each booking feel simple for you and predictable for your cat.

Safety, security and peace of mind

Your cat and your home are always treated with the highest respect.

  • We follow your instructions on alarms, locks and household routines.
  • Regular visits help keep the property looking occupied, blinds adjusted, post brought in, lights changed, bins taken out on schedule.
  • We do not use branded vehicles or clothing when visiting, helping to avoid advertising that you are away.
  • We keep you updated, and where possible can send messages and photos so you can see how your cat is doing.

If anything unexpected happens, from a missed meal to a broken appliance, we will contact you (or your nominated emergency contact) promptly to agree the best next step.

A service built around long‑term relationships

Many of our clients have been with us for years, booking the same trusted sitter whenever they travel. Over time, this means:

  • Your cat has a familiar, consistent visitor.
  • Your sitter knows your cat’s quirks, hiding places and normal behaviour.
  • You can book with confidence, knowing the routine is already established.

If your regular sitter is ever unavailable due to holiday or illness, we will discuss alternatives with you in advance and, where possible, introduce the new sitter before your trip.
